Pet Groomer

 

A local company is looking for an experienced pet groomer to join their team. As a pet groomer, you will be grooming a variety of cat and dog breeds. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to ensuring the safety and comfort of pets during grooming sessions. The position involves bathing, trimming, styling, nail clipping and providing general care to pets in a clean, safe environment.   

 

 

Duties

 

• Evaluate pet's conditions and needs
• Shampooing and drying fur
• Trimming and cleaning nails
• Administering treatments
• Treat skin conditions
• Cleaning ears when needed

 

Requirements

 

• Understanding and familiarity of different breeds and demeanors of pets
• Detail oriented
• Skilled with grooming tools
• Calm demeanor to soothe nervous pets
• Ability to lift and maneuver dogs of all shapes and sizes
• Ability to communicate with pet owners
• Previous experience preferred

Pay

 

$16.00/hr

Schedule

 

Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. Schedule may vary.
