Cafeteria Worker (Flexible)

We are seeking an energetic and reliable on-call temporary cafeteria worker to assist in serving food to customers. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This position is flexible, requiring availability as needed.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and serving of food items to customers in a cafeteria setting.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the serving area and dining space.
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are followed at all times.
• Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders and addressing any inquiries.
• Assist with restocking food supplies and maintaining inventory levels.
• Support kitchen staff with food preparation and cleanup as required.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing duties.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in food service or cafeteria work is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Basic food handling and sanitation knowledge is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Comfortable working in a kitchen environment with varying temperatures.
