Location: McAllen, TX
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

About Us:
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a skilled Logistics Analyst to join our McAllen team. This role offers meaningful work optimizing logistics operations by leveraging data analysis to improve processes and support efficient freight movement. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Investigate and resolve freight issues with forwarders, brokers, U.S. Customs, and transportation providers

• Monitor airfreight movement into DFW and McAllen warehouses

• Address freight-related issues involving truckers, airlines, brokers, customs, and CFS

• Evaluate logistics systems and processes to ensure alignment with industry standards

• Participate in and enforce training plans for logistics staff; recommend process improvements

• Provide office function coverage and coordinate job rotations to maintain workflow balance

• Build strong working relationships with airlines, truckers, and freight forwarders

• Communicate overages, shortages, and damages (OS&D) promptly to responsible parties

• Create and prepare management reports using Excel, Pivot Tables, PowerPoint, AS400, and Query

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience

• 5–6 years of experience in domestic and international logistics

• Strong proficiency with MS Office, including Excel and PowerPoint

• Ability to provide routing and costing information

• Excellent organizational, multitasking, and independent decision-making skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
