Logistics Coordinator

Our client in the Waukegan area is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join their team! Be a part of a growing environment with an established company who is a premier provider in their industry and has been in business for 35+ years.

 

Job Summary: The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of our logistics and supply chain activities. This role involves managing inventory, coordinating shipments, and ensuring timely delivery of products to our clients. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

 

Highlights:

• Temp to Hire
• $45k+, based on experience
• Hybrid role in Waukegan, IL
• Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations.
• Ensure efficient and accurate inventory management.
• Schedule and track inbound and outbound shipments.
• Communicate with carriers, suppliers, and customers to ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of logistics activities.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize processes and improve efficiency.
• Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to shipments and deliveries.
• Prepare and analyze logistics reports.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain management principles.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and logistics software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
