Position Summary
Express Employment Professionals – Emerald Coast is now hiring for a Full Charge Bookkeeper for a respected CPA firm in Destin, Florida. This opportunity is perfect for experienced accounting professionals seeking a long-term career in Okaloosa or Walton County. New accounting graduates with QuickBooks skills are also encouraged to apply.
We’re looking for candidates with strong bookkeeping experience, especially in QuickBooks, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger management.
Key Responsibilities

Maintain general ledger accuracy and entries

Process accounts payable and receivable

Prepare and process employee payroll
-
Reconcile bank and credit card statements

Prepare financial reports and assist with month-end close

Support tax filing and reporting requirements
Ideal Candidate

Minimum 4 years of accounting experience OR degree in Accounting

QuickBooks proficiency required

Solid understanding of accounting principles and processes

Detail-oriented and well-organized

Professional communication and client service skills

Able to work independently and manage deadlines
