Our client in the Lincolnshire area is seeking an organized and analytical individual who wants to be a part of a growing company within the automotive manufacturing industry. Position Highlights:

• Onsite in Lincolnshire, IL
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-4:30PM
• Temp to Hire
• Pay: $24/hr+, based on experience

Position Responsibilities: 

• Monitor inventory levels to place purchase orders to maintain optimal stock.
• Analyze sales trends and forecast demand to inform purchasing decisions.
• Track incoming shipments and coordinate with the warehouse team for timely receiving.
• Work with Accounting, Sales/Customer Service, Quality teams to resolve issues with factories related to order discrepancies, delays, or product quality.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information, with yearly pricing/cost updates, and ongoing freight and tariff news.
• Source products from approved suppliers and negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
• Identify and evaluate new suppliers to improve cost, quality, and delivery performance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Ideal Candidate: 

• 2+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Experience with ERP or purchasing systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains).
• Understanding of supply chain logistics and vendor management.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
