PAY RANGE: $22.00-$25.00/hour

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Order Picker / Delivery Driver is responsible for reading incoming orders and selecting the correct items from the warehouse shelves before staging them for delivery.
• Collecting order notes to fulfill deliveries.
• Picking ordered items from storage shelves using barcodes, printed orders, etc.
• Securely shrink-wrapping items after they have been packaged and labeled.
• Deliver orders by following the manifest to ensure orders are delivered according to established time frames and customer needs.
• Follow company RECEIVING procedures to ensure material is received correctly, stored in the correct location and all required records are documented and scanned into the system.
• Follow company PICK, PACK and SHIP procedures to ensure the proper routing, loading, and preparing of orders for shipment and delivery are achieved.
• Typically, the employee will be doing 60-70% warehouse work and 30-40% will be delivery driving. 
• Prepare the trucks for operation by assisting in and overseeing the loading of trucks, securing of items, and verifying the accuracy of shipping paperwork.
• Document deliveries, accuracy, and receipt of orders by the customer.

 

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 2-3 years of order picking and delivery driving experience with a pickup truck and/or flatbed.
• Previous experience of working in distribution centers like Amazon, Rexel, Grainger, etc. preferred.
• Must have working knowledge of how to tie down a load. 
• Be an initiative-taker and always have a plan on what to do next.
• Be versatile and well skilled at all tasks in the warehouse including driving, receiving, picking, and packing.
• Loading delivery vehicle.
• Performing general warehouse duties as necessary.

 

Education:

• HS Diploma or GED

 

Physical Requirements:

• Able to lift, push, pull, move upto 50 lbs.

Equipment Used:

• Forklift, Hand Truck, Pallet Jack, etc. 
• Will be driving one of the following vehicles for delivery: Medium Isuzu NPRHD Flatbed, Light Ram Pick-up Truck, Medium Chevy 3500 or Heavy TCI 21102

• Make creating “loyal customers” a top priority by delivering orders right the first time; damage free, complete, with 100% accuracy.
