Water Restoration Laborer

Salary: $14/hr

Express Employment Professionals is seeking applicants for a Water Restoration Laborer position for a company! We are a full-service Staffing Firm where we work with companies in East Texas that have full-time, part-time and temporary. Since we cannot guarantee placement, there is no fee for using our services!

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor, inspect, and complete tasks related to water restoration jobs (drying, demolition, water extraction, etc.) 

• Cut and remove sheetrock and non-salvageable materials

• Use equipment and tools safely and effectively for restoration and demolition

• Pack out, clean, and document affected contents

• Prepare detailed job documentation including notes, photos, and forms for insurance reimbursement

• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers on job progress and next steps

• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and product label usage instructions

• Maintain a clean and organized job site

Requirements:

• Valid Driver’s License (good driving record strongly preferred)

• Must be able to pass a background check (no felonies)

• Physically able to lift heavy materials and work in confined spaces

• Must be willing to be on-call and work overtime as needed

• Ability to read and follow written instructions in English

• Must be able to wear a respirator when required (must seal properly to face)

• Comfortable working in a variety of indoor/outdoor conditions with or without climate control

• Strong work ethic – must be dependable, self-motivated, and not easily distracted

• Able to squat, crawl, crouch, stand, and walk for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications:

• 6+ months of Water Restoration or Technician experience

• Willingness to cross-train in Fire Restoration

• Desire to grow within the company and be hired on permanently
