Material Handler

Located in Sherman, TX

Salary: $18.50/hr

Express Employment Professionals is seeking applicants for a Material Handler position for a company! We are a full-service Staffing Firm where we work with companies in East Texas that have full-time, part-time and temporary. Since we cannot guarantee placement, there is no fee for using our services!

Job Qualification:

• Operate grinding equipment to prepare materials for production.

• Handle material and product flow to ensure smooth operations in the production areas.

• Document incoming and outgoing materials and supplies, ensuring accurate records.

• Utilize material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) as needed to move materials efficiently.

• Remove shipped materials from delivery vehicles and transport them to the appropriate storage areas.

• Examine receiving documents to ensure correct storage destinations for materials.

• Pull stored materials for orders and move them to production or shipping areas to meet customer demands.
  
  

Requirements:

• Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred.

• Ability to operate grinding equipment and other material handling tools.

• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

• Ability to lift heavy materials (up to [insert weight] pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks.

• Strong communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

• Forklift certification (preferred but not required).

• Basic knowledge of inventory management and materials tracking is a plus.
