Benicia manufacturing company seeking a Mold Injection Machine Operator!

Requirements

Setup, operation and troubleshooting of injection molding machines in a production environment. Machine tonnage range is from 20 to 140 Ton.
Setup, operation and troubleshooting of auxiliary equipment, such as dryers, material feeding systems, temperature controllers, etc.
Perform adjustments to machines to produce parts within defined quality parameters.
Provide assistance with Engineering Samples and mold tests.
Provide ownership and input of injection molding process and equipment for the reduction of defects, overall process improvement, and/or the reduction of downtime.
Ability to perform basic molding machine and injection mold maintenance.
Experience in developing Standard Operating Procedures.
Assist, mentor and train employees of Injection Molding area to help develop and improve processes.
Supervise and train operators
Monitors productivity and quality of all molding jobs.
Perform basic injection mold maintenance, cleaning and storage.
Perform basic injection molding machine maintenance.

Additional Qualifications and Skills:

Minimum of 5 years experience in the setup and troubleshooting of plastic injection molding machines.
Experience with machines ranging from 20 to 140 Tons.
Processing experience with engineering and general commodity resins.
Understanding of injection molding machines, moisture dryers, & other molding equipment.
Basic hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic experience.
Strong mathematical skills (add & subtract all units of measure, multiply & divide whole numbers & fractions), compute rate, ratio, percent, interpret graphs and other statistical data.
Ability to multi-task in a high production manufacturing environment.
Strong project management, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Strong skills in understanding general manufacturing processes.
Computer proficiency – MS Office and MRP
Ability to accurately follow instructions.

Pay is $34.00 - $40.00 + DOE. Long term evaluation hire!
