Assembler 1 - Crate/Final Assembly 1st shift

Located in Kilgore, TX

Salary: $17/hr.

Express Employment Professionals of Longview are currently seeking experienced Assembler – Crate/Final Assembly for a manufacturing company in Kilgore. Starting pay is $17/hr. Regular schedule is Monday thru Friday 6am-2:30pm, must be available for possible overtime and weekends when needed. Must be a US Citizen due to government contracts.

Job Details:

• Performs multiple core tasks of a routine nature in an assigned team, project or functional area including:
• Builds cables and connector
• Has the ability to perform soldering/tinning
• Integrates sub-assemblies into final hardware
• Performs final assembly of small systems
• Performs basic electrical tests
• Performs basic rework and refurbishment of hardware and systems
• Packs, moves and protects finished product
• Performs basic inspection per documentation
• Performs housekeeping and safety audits
• Accurately completes process paperwork and enters data into the applicable work order management system
• Reads and interprets basic schematics and drawings
• Performs general fabrication and marking
• Supports continuous improvement activities
• Participates in problem solving activities
• Works toward team goals
• Cross trains team members in basic tasks
• Supports safety/housekeeping standards
• Comply with internal /customer specifications
• Interprets blueprints to fit and/or tack parts together
