Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Leasing Agent for a local aprtment complex. The Leasing Agent is responsible for functions to assist in the effective management and operations of the apartment community.

Essential Responsibilities

• Keeping the management office open during agreed upon time, and responding to all emergency calls,
  regardless of hour
• Maintaining a good level of occupancy with 100% rented as the goal
• Responsible for handling or supervising preparation of all new rental documents
• Collect rent and complete bank deposits
• Support all maintenance, housekeeping and grounds workers
• Taking requests for service or repairs, on forms provided
• Assigning work orders to maintenance personnel, and following up on these assignments
• Supervise all service contracts or arrangements with service companies and suppliers, and keep Property Manager informed if there are changes needed
• Keep a maintenance file on all service and repair work done
• Keep an inventory of parts, supplies, and equipment

Pay: $15.00/HR

Schedule: 8:00am-5:00pm

Requirements

• 6 months of leasing agent experience
• Personable, professional outgoing
• Good organization, project management and time management abilities
• Great customer service skills
• Efficient problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Effective communication skills, including verbal and written communication
• Multitasking and time management skills
