Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

Location: Mesa, AZ
Pay: $20–$25 per hour (DOE)

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Industrial Maintenance Mechanic for a large industrial operation in Mesa, AZ. This role supports a demanding environment with a wide range of heavy equipment and requires strong diagnostic, mechanical, and hydraulic skills.

 

Job Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy industrial equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs
• Work on cranes, forklifts, and Class 8 trucks
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
• Conduct inspections and identify safety or performance issues
• Document repairs and maintenance accurately
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Work independently with minimal supervision

 

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience working on:
  • Cranes
  • Forklifts
  • Class 8 trucks
• Strong background in hydraulics, diesel engines, and electrical systems
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, industrial setting
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Reliable, safety-focused, and mechanically sound

 

Highly Preferred (Not Required)

• Prior experience working on CAT (Caterpillar) equipment, especially cranes
• Welding or fabrication experience
• Industrial or recycling facility experience
