Temporary Medical Assistant - Bilingual (English/Spanish) - South Miami Area

Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical and administrative support to healthcare providers.
• Greet and register patients, verifying insurance information.
• Take and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
• Prepare patients for examinations and assist with procedures.
• Administer injections and medications as directed by physicians.
• Collect and process specimens for laboratory testing.
• Maintain accurate patient medical records.
• Schedule appointments and manage patient flow.
• Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries.
• Translate for Spanish-speaking patients.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Fluency in both English and Spanish (required).
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent certification preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
• Proficiency in taking vital signs and administering injections.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.  
   
• Reliable transportation and willingness to commute to the South Miami area.  
   
• Current CPR certification.

Compensation:

• $18 - $25 per hour (depending on experience).

Location:

• South Miami Area.

This is a temporary position with the potential for extension.
