Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Title Clerk to join our team with a local auto auction. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in processing title documents, ensuring compliance with real estate laws, and providing exceptional customer service. This position requires a strong understanding of title processing and the ability to conduct thorough research to support real estate transactions.

Job Duties/Skills include:

• Process, verify, and reassign titles from sellers to buyers on sold vehicles

• Review vehicle titles for accuracy

• Verify acceptance and negotiability of the title for the buyers’ state

• Confirm accurate Vin, Mileage, Release of any liens, proper signatures of the seller, proper reassignment to the buyer and that title contains no alterations

• Report any discrepancies in a timely manner to sellers

• Maintain knowledge of current DMV laws and regulations as they relate to the auction

• Follow-up on outstanding titles for sold units

• Assist on sale day with dealer check-in

• Take payments and issue gate releases

• Send out buyer and seller summaries

• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Manager

Additional Details:

• Pay is $16-18/hr.

• Hours are Monday - Thursday 9:00 am - 4:00 pm, Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
