Monday thru Friday – 8am to 5pm

$19hr to $21hr depending on experience.

 

A global corporation offering design, development, prototypes and manufacturing solutions for aerospace and defense electronic products and subsystems is seeking Assembly people to join their team in Chatsworth.

 

Summary: Seeking individuals with good dexterity and eye-hand coordination to put together part assemblies.

 

Responsibilities:

• Use tools to make aerospace instrument panels using painted plastics and metal.
• Setting shims, Sanding and silk screening.
• Interpreting technical documents, such as diagrams, schematics, blueprints, or other verbal or written instructions.
• Working with other members of the line or group in order to assemble products.
• Keeping a clean and tidy workspace.
• Meeting all safety requirements of the company and industry.
• Identifying any defective items and handling them according to established procedures.
• Using reason to solve problems as they arise.

 

Qualifications:

• Must be able to distinguish between Red, Green, Blue, White, and Yellow.
• Able to sit for up to 4 hours at a time.
• Read and speak English Attention to detail.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Skilled in mechanics.
• Willing to perform repetitive tasks while sitting or standing for extended periods of time.
