Warehouse Associate

 

Our client in the Mundelein area is seeking TWO Warehouse Associates. These are Direct Hire positions at a well-established mid-sized company. The fundamental purpose for this position is to handle inventory receipts and shipments. This position reports directly to the Warehouse Manager.

• Hours are 8:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday
• Pay Rate is $21-24/hour based on skills and experience
• DIRECT HIRE 

Essential Functions:

• Receive product shipments from vendors, focusing on counting part numbers and verifying serial numbers.
• Pick and pack customer orders with triple checking on the pick accuracy.
• Perform regular cycle counts and investigation into unmatched counts. Maintain accurate location codes in the computer information system.
• Process product returns. Evaluate condition of the product upon return to determine restocking fees for quality or packaging.

Skills and & Experience Required:

• Basic warehousing skills.
• Safe forklift operation.
• Must be able to pick up boxes up to 50 lbs. o
• Must be detail-oriented to differentiate between similar part numbers. o
• Must keep shipment paperwork in presentable condition.
• Required Experience and Training: A high-school diploma is required. Other combinations of experience and education that meet the minimum requirements may be substituted.
