Pay Range: $30/hour
Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage a high-volume AR and collections workload across multiple companies and states. This role requires strong attention to detail, independence, and comfort working with a very direct management style. Experience with sales tax in Washington and Idaho is highly preferred. This position has the potential to become a long-term opportunity for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage high-volume accounts receivable independently

  • Perform collections across multiple companies and multiple states

  • Accurately apply payments and checks, particularly for construction-related accounts

  • Maintain clean, accurate, and up-to-date AR records

  • Work closely with store managers in Idaho and Washington

  • Navigate Sage Intacct accounting software with confidence

  • Maintain accuracy in spreadsheets, data entry, and AR reporting

  • Assist with sales tax–related tasks for Washington and Idaho, as needed

Expected Results

  • Timely and accurate collections

  • Clean, current AR accounts

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision after a short onboarding period

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience in accounts receivable and collections

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to manage a high workload independently

  • Comfortable working with a very direct supervisor and minimal small talk

  • Strong communication and follow-up skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with sales tax in Washington and Idaho

  • Experience with construction-related accounts

  • Prior use of Sage Intacct

Equipment & Software Used

  • Sage Intacct

  • Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office

  • Flint Loc POS system (training provided)
