We are hiring a Teacher Assistant here in the Kendall Area

Job Description: The Teacher assistant plays a vital role in supporting the lead teacher in creating a positive and engaging learning environment for young children. This position requires someone who is interested in entering the academic field and is committed to providing high-quality early childhood education. 

 

Key Requirements: 

• Assist the lead teacher in implementing the daily lesson plans and activities. 
• Prepare and set up learning materials and classroom environment
• Guide and supervise children during learning activities, both individually and in small groups. 
• Observe and interact with children, identifying individual learning styles and developmental needs. 
• Communicate effectively with the Lead Teacher and other staff members regarding student progress and classroom needs.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.

 

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent. 
• Required 45 hours DCF
• Prior special needs experience preferred but not required. 
• English required, spanish preferred
