Stick Picker (Quality Assurance)

Join a lumber mill in Molalla as a Quality Assurance Production Worker! This company processes bark products for the local community, and your role will be to inspect the production line for rocks, sticks, and other non-bark materials.

Pay: $21.90

Schedule: Monday - Friday

(6:00am - 2:30pm) Day

(3:00 pm -11:00 pm) Swing 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Watching and pulling foreign materials that is not supposed to go through the machines (i.e. rocks, trash, large pieces of wood)
•  Needs to have a good attention to details
• Standing/bending the entire shift
• Will be maintaining/cleaning debris

MUST BE ABLE AND WILLING TO WORK SWING SHIFT

Skills Required: 

• Good attention to detail
• SAFETY ORIENTED
• Must have valid drivers license

Qualities Required:

• Attendance is critical for this client they will turn you away if you are late

Physical Requirements: 

• Climb up and down stairs, light lifting, some heavy lifting, standing for the entire shift, bent over conveyor majority of shift, able to observe a moving conveyor for entire shift (screen for potential vertigo or motion sickness)

Equipment Used:

• Conveyor belt, leaf blower, pressure washer, screw driver, bathroom tools, will be trained on Skid Steer, (will need to be willing to take turns cleaning facilities including the bathroom)

Experience Required: 

• Agriculture experience preferred, farming experience, and landscaping experience
