Salary: Starting at $18/hr

Express Employment has partnered with an area legal firm and we are searching for a skilled legal assistant to join their team!  The successful candidate will be flexible and able to provide diverse assistance among various areas of law.  Prior law office experience required. 

 

Hours: Monday – Friday 8am to 5pm

Wage: Starting at $18/hr – based on experience

 

Job Duties Include:

• Answering phones and providing customer service
• Compiling relevant information and other summaries
• Communication with clients
• Draft and prepare correspondence, pleadings and contracts
• Organizing and managing documents
• Aid attorneys with client preparation and research
• Assisting with the preparation, filing and service of pleadings

 

Qualifications:

• Excellent written and oral communication skills and organizational skills
• Strong writing skills with attention to detail
• Extensive computer and database expertise including Word, Excel and Outlook
• Ability to learn new software and incorporate into daily tasks
• Ability to prioritize workload and assignments
