Express Employment Professionals is currently hiring a Maintenance Technician for a local hospital. The maintenance technician is responsible for performing routine and emergency repairs, inspect equipment, and maintain the facility.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Maintaining aesthetics of the facility, such as paint, wall vinyl, floor tile, mill work, counter tops, hand rails, and ceiling tile.
- Maintaining life safety features such as fire system suppression, fire alarm, and smoke fire partitions.
- Operating hand and power tools.
- Responding to emergency repairs as needed.
- Performing inspections and reporting to the facility manager to develop a plan.
Pay: $15-$18/HR DOE
Schedule: 7AM-3:30PM. May be required to work rotating weekends.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Proven experience working as a maintenance technician
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to organize tasks and work independently as well as with a team
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Manual dexterity to use hand and power tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. above shoulders
