Warehouse Lead

Express Employment Professionals on 61st and Center is recruiting for a Bilingual Warehouse Lead to join a manufacturing company in South Omaha. This will be in a COLD STORAGE environment. You must be able to speak English/Spanish fluently to be considered for this specific role!

Position Details:
•    Type: Evaluation Hire
•    Schedule: 2nd shift
•    Location: Omaha, NE
•    Pay/Salary: Up to $27/hr

Job Duties:
•    Oversee and manage all warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping of products.
•    Schedule and organize shifts according to supervisors. .
•    Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes and procedures to optimize productivity and minimize costs.
•    Ensure accurate inventory control and proper stock rotation.
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop demand planning and production planning strategies.
•    Monitor transportation management systems to ensure timely delivery of goods.
•    Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
•    Proven experience in warehouse management, preferably in a distribution center setting.
•    Strong knowledge of transportation management systems, freight, and other operations.
•    Proficient in operations management principles, including demand planning and production planning.
•    Solid understanding of inventory control techniques and best practices.
•    Familiarity with warehouse management systems for efficient inventory tracking.
•    Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and supervise a team.
•    Strong problem-solving abilities with the capacity to make sound decisions under pressure.
