Millwright Mechanic

Location: Inman, SC

Salary: $30+ per hour (Based on experience)

Shifts: Four 10-hour shifts, or five 10-hour shifts depending on the season. Travel required.

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Millwright Mechanic to join our client in Inman, SC. In this role, you will be responsible for servicing, repairing, troubleshooting, and performing preventive maintenance on rotating and mechanical-related equipment. You will also be tasked with aligning pumps, gearboxes, motors, and belt-driven systems while ensuring quality standards and safety protocols are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform service, repairs, and troubleshooting on rotating and mechanical equipment.
• Perform and teach the proper alignment of pumps, gearboxes, motors, and belt-driven systems.
• Provide basic machining, welding, and electrical support as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of all service, repairs, and maintenance performed.
• Ensure a safe and clean work environment by adhering to all company procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Travel as needed to various job sites.
• Be adaptable and able to work in various environments, including heat, cold, rain, and confined spaces.

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license.
• Clear background check.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and in diverse weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.).
• Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in mechanical, rotating equipment.
• Basic knowledge of machining, welding, and electrical practices.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to follow and teach safe practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Must be reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Compensation & Benefits:

• $30+ per hour, based on experience.
