Salary: $24.00 - $30.00 DOE

Napa company looking for Skilled Machine Operators who are responsible for operation and proficient understanding of working a bottling line with technical experience in proper procedures for set up and shut down of bottling machinery, and fixing bottling machinery needed. 

MUST BE OK WITH TRAVELING TO DIFFERENT LOCATIONS IN NAPA COUNTY

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

• Sanitation Procedures: Perform twice daily sanitation procedures to ensure a clean and safe work environment.
• Bottling Equipment: Set up, change over, and maintain the operation of bottling equipment.
• Quality Control: Confirm quality product output, ensuring all products meet company standards.
• Client Interaction: Interface with clients about the planning, staging, and maintenance of daily production schedules.
• Transportation: Pack up and transport the bottling line on move days, ensuring all equipment is safely relocated.
• Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise, minimizing downtime.
• Regular Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance of bottling equipment to ensure smooth operations.
• Project Identification: Identify larger maintenance projects and coordinate with management for execution.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years’ experience with bottling, packaging, or processing lines, or as a maintenance mechanic.
• Cellar Operations: Familiarity with cellar operations is helpful.
• Communication: Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and clients.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to quickly address and resolve issues.
• Teamwork: Able to work effectively in a team environment.
• Physical Stamina: Able to work extended shifts, occasional Saturdays, stand for extended periods of time, and lift 25 pounds.
• Driver’s License: Valid CA driver’s license;
• Must have an insurable driving record.
