Location: Clermont, FL / Lake and Sumter Counties

Reports To: Owner / Sales Manager
Position Summary
The Business Development Representative is responsible for generating new client partnerships through outside sales efforts while helping expand existing relationships. This role is ideal for someone early to mid-career who enjoys being out in the community, building rapport, and solving workforce challenges for local businesses.
You’ll work closely with our recruiting and operations team to deliver staffing solutions that truly meet client needs.
Key Responsibilities

Prospect and develop new business through in-person visits, phone outreach, networking, and referrals

Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers, decision-makers, and local business leaders

Conduct client meetings to understand workforce needs, company culture, and hiring challenges

Present staffing solutions and service offerings tailored to each client

Collaborate with recruiters to ensure smooth job order fulfillment and client satisfaction

Maintain consistent follow-up with prospects and active clients

Track activity, pipeline, and results in CRM or internal systems

Represent the company professionally at community events, job fairs, and networking opportunities

Support retention and growth of existing accounts through regular check-ins and service reviews
Qualifications & Experience

1–3+ years of sales, business development, or customer-facing experience (staffing or B2B sales a plus, but not required)

Comfortable with outside sales, cold outreach, and face-to-face meetings

Strong communication and relationship-building skills

Self-motivated, organized, and results-driven

Ability to manage time independently while working as part of a close-knit team

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

CRM experience is a plus
