Entry-Level Drafter

Position Overview

Our Fairfield Client seeking a detail-oriented Entry-Level Drafter  team. The successful candidate will assist in creating technical drawings and plans using CAD software while working closely with senior drafters and engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and modify technical drawings using AutoCAD and related software
• Convert rough sketches and design concepts into detailed drawings
• Review drawings and blueprints to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards
• Maintain organized digital and physical drawing files
• Assist in basic calculations and material specifications
• Support senior team members with project documentation
• Participate in project meetings and collaborate with team members

Required Qualifications

• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software
• Basic understanding of drafting standards and technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good mathematical and analytical skills
• Effective written and verbal communication abilities
• Ability to work well in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with 3D modeling software (e.g., Revit, SolidWorks)
• Knowledge of building codes and construction methods
• Basic understanding of engineering principles
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
