Express Employment Professionals is currently hiring an Agricultural Mechanic for a local seed and gardening store. The Agricultural Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining and repairing of a wide variety of industrial and farming equipment.

Essential Job Functions:

• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot repairs on equipment and trucks, both on location and out in the field.
• Repair and replace electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electronic components such as motors, contactors, relays, timers, switches, motor controls and valves.
• Possess interest to be taught how to operate and maintain a large capacity seed cleaner.
• Assist co-workers with fertilizer, warehouse and grounds maintenance operations as necessary.
• Order parts and equipment economically.
• Keep thorough records of maintenance performed and expenses.
• Cross-train as needed on additional processes.

 

Pay: $25.00+/HR DOE

 

Schedule: 8:00am-5:30pm Monday - Friday; Occasional mandatory OT on Saturdays

 

Requirements:

• 5+ years of mechanical repair experience, ideally in an agricultural environment.
• Experience in hydraulics, electrical repair, and welding/fabricating preferred.
• Experience in Excel and/or Word to track maintenance activities.
• Valid Drivers License.
• Able to operate a forklift and tractor.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly.
• Ability to work outside in various weather conditions.
• Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and work in high spaces.
