Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Ophthalmic Technician to join our team at a local optometrist’s office. In this role, you will assist with patient care by updating medical histories, performing visual acuity tests, and preparing patients and rooms for procedures. If you have prior medical experience and enjoy working in a healthcare setting, we’d love to meet you!

Job Duties:

• Update patients' medical history.

• Check patients' visual acuity.

• Prepare patients and procedure rooms.

• Administer required tests and eyedrops.

• Assist with other tasks as assigned by the doctor.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift 50 lbs consistently.

• Comfortable standing, bending, squatting, lifting, and moving as required.

Requirements:

• Prior medical history experience is preferred.

• Proficient in using office equipment and tools related to patient care.
