Overall Responsibility
To expedite customer requests and orders in a fast and efficient manner and assist production to make sure they are equipped with all parts necessary per the customer’s orders. To always assist our customers in a polite and friendly manner as you are the integrity of our company.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Assist customers that call in and make follow up sales calls.
- Purchase parts for production.
- Receiving parts into the facility for production needs.
- Enter all purchase orders that are sent in for processing.
- Enter export orders and complete all paperwork needed for shipment. Handle all correspondence with customers.
- Creating and printing reports for open orders, to buy lists etc., for smoother operation of the department.
- Setting up new parts for products including Bill of Materials.
- Supply and sending paperwork to Logistics for Shipping.
- Fill out appropriate customer product complaint paperwork when applicable.
- Process customer returns and complete appropriate paperwork.
- Enter and keep track of all credits.
- Handle all technical requests made by customers for new products, fill out appropriate paperwork and forward to the production team.
- Type up quotes and distribute by mail, fax or e-mail to customers. Enter pricing into the computer system.
- Address customer claims and concerns with production to ensure continuous quality improvement while promoting the overall corporation and all of its products and services.
- Initiates corrective action to customers in regard to handling of problems, concerns and product complaints.
- Maintains files and work directly with the Production Manager to ensure that all product complaints are properly submitted and followed up with customers.
- Coordinates with Production Manager to implement and maintain customer pricing on all products.
- Learn and follow ISO procedures for work instructions in this classification.
