Our client, a Peel area innovative manufacturer of furniture and fixtures, is looking to grow their team of cabinet makers and mill working professionals with the addition of a Welder Fitter to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis.

What’s The Responsibilities of the Role:

• We are looking for someone with a background and experience in a Welder Fitter role, using both semi-automatic and fully automatic equipment to perform finishing welding (clean bead and lines) on stainless, aluminum and sheet metal.

 

• You have a great deal of experience performing set up for brazing and welding machines and are an expert at finishing metal weld seams, filling holes and fixing indentations with precision and skill

 

• You are comfortable with taking instructions from specs and setting up jigs to perform. You take pride in your work and can examine all welds to make sure that the exceed corporate standards

 

• You are a master at assembling a superior product that meets and exceeds all quality requirements

Qualification For the Role:

• 3-5 years’ experience as a Welder fitter with experience with TIG and MIG Welding and a knowledge of ARC and Gas welding machines

 

• You are comfortable with reading, and interpreting blueprints and interpreting process requirements and specifications

 

• You are able to work in a fast paced, demanding environment and have a expert knowledge of trade power tools

 

• You love working with peers collaboratively in a team environment to display your excellence in craftmanship and skills in welding and metal fabricating
