Bilingual (English/French) Technical Support Representative 

 

Our medical manufacturing client is seeking a Technical Support Representative to join their growing team. Candidates must be bilingual in English/French.

• Fully remote position (equipment provided)
• Monday - Friday, must be available to work in the Eastern Time Zone
• Pay: $22/hr-$24/hr

Your Role Within The Company 

• Assigned to Canadian customer/account base and will be responsible for:
  • Meeting customers’ application and product needs, recommending appropriate products, equipment, and solutions.
• Supports global sales channels and international customer networks via pre-sale and post-sale support.
• Assists customers in buying decisions, consistently recognizing and offering cross-sell/upsell opportunities to customers. Follow up on quoted opportunities as needed.
• Understanding national security requirements and export compliance of all transactions.
• Attends vendor and department meetings for continued learning.
• Responsible for providing product documentation support as needed. 
• Participates in root cause analysis and process improvement.
• Sales support activities such as entering orders, providing quotes and pricing, expediting orders and coordinating the return process for all products.
• Makes returns/or replacement decisions for failed products or customer complaints..

Background Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific/engineering major)
• 0 to 2 years customer service related experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint 
• Attention to detail, excellent communication skills and eagerness to learn
