We are local to Haines City, FL and we are currently seeking Production/Forklift Workers to join our production team. We are searching for candidates local to the area, and that are looking for a long-term role in a stable environment with opportunity for growth. Shift: Must be able to work a 12hr rotational shift rotating days to nights, in a warm environment!

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Forklift Driver to join our team. This role involves operating forklifts to move and transport materials within our facility. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a hot environment and be prepared for 12-hour shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Material Handling: Operate forklifts to transport raw materials, finished products, and waste materials throughout the facility.
• Inventory Management: Assist with loading and unloading materials, ensuring accurate inventory counts and proper storage.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including wearing appropriate PPE and conducting pre-shift equipment inspections.
• Maintenance: Perform routine checks on forklifts and report any maintenance issues or malfunctions to the supervisor.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of materials moved, inventory levels, and any discrepancies.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members and departments to ensure efficient and smooth operations.
• Environment Adaptation: Perform duties in a hot environment, with the ability to handle high temperatures and maintain focus during long shifts.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience operating forklifts in a manufacturing or industrial setting is preferred.
• Certification: Valid forklift operator certification is required.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to handle physically demanding tasks, including lifting, carrying, and operating heavy machinery.
• Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and safety in all tasks.
• Adaptability: Ability to work in a hot environment and manage stress associated with long shifts.
• Communication Skills: Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues.

Work Environment:

• Temperature: The factory environment is hot; appropriate clothing and hydration are necessary.
• Shift: Must be able to work a 12hr rotational shift rotating days to nights, in a warm environment!
• Physical Demands: Standing, walking, and operating heavy machinery for extended periods.
