Express Employment Professionals in Hillsboro, OR is currently hiring for a semiconductor company – immediate positions for experienced manufacturing/production operators. A successful applicant must be flexible to work compressed work weeks (12 hour shifts) on graveyard shift.

Job Description:

• The DSP coordinator is a working person. The employee who is assigned to the position is expected to operate DSP tools
• Operate manufacturing process equipment in the wafer finishing operation
• Ensure priorities are met and the highest quality product is sent to customers
• Coordinate and schedule all DSP and FP tasks to achieve daily output requirements as communicated by the Manufacturing General
• Ensure pad changes are done within 7 hours - target should be 4 hours for cleaning/pressing and 3 hours for dressing
• Schedule and monitor lunch breaks
• Maximize FP output and assign tasks to this position to support DSP when time permits
• Monitor employee operational knowledge and train when deficiencies are found
• Implement improvement and controls to eliminate operator errors
  • Target is zero operator errors
• Rapidly respond to changes in customer order priority
• Eliminate wasted time due to inefficient work methods
• Troubleshoot issues - investigate and resolve problems first before involving maintenance or engineering
• Maintain accurate record keeping including logs, records, control charts and PC based files
• Ensure a safe work environment and safe work methods by constantly monitoring and auditing for hazards and maintaining 5S disciplines
• Preform other duties as assigned 

Requirements:

• 6+ months in a manufacturing environment
• Have a basic understanding of arithmetic functions: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
• Ability to speak and read English
• Ability to work and cooperate in a team environment 
• Have a high level of self initiative and a desire to learn
• Ability to listen and pay close attention to details
