1st Shift – General Laborer

Location: Kansas City, KS (Fairfax)
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM (some mandatory Fridays)
Pay: $16.00/hr

Job Summary:
We’re hiring General Laborers to support a busy powder coating operation. This role is hands-on and involves working with metal parts throughout the coating and finishing process.

Responsibilities:

• Apply powder coatings to metal surfaces using spray equipment

• Assist with heating and curing products to create a durable finish

• Prep, handle, and package finished materials for shipment

• Support general production and shop needs as required

About the Work:
Powder coating is a dry finishing process where charged powder is applied to metal and then cured in high-heat ovens to create a strong, smooth coating used on industrial equipment.

Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently

• Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and working 10-hour shifts

• Able to work in a hot industrial environment

• Previous manufacturing or general labor experience is a plus
