Summary

Prepares and serves meals for the dietary department in a safe and appetizing method in compliance with dietary standards, policy and procedures.

 

• Assists or prepares food items and serves food to residents within the scheduled time frame.
• Assures that meals are prepped and prepared on time.
• Assists with dishes, serving meals and other assigned tasks as a team.
• Assists with food preparation for special events or activities as assigned.
• Cleans and maintains food service areas, including the kitchen and dining room.

Assists dietary supervisor in maintaining inventory control

 

Working Conditions

• Ability to lift 40-50 pounds regularly during work hours.
• Heated & air conditioned, well-lit community with minimal barriers.
