Job Title: CDL Class A Driver (Local Driving)

Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced CDL Class A Driver with Moffit experience to join our team. This position involves local driving, ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods within the [Location Name] area. As a CDL Class A Driver, you will play a key role in maintaining our commitment to exceptional service and efficiency. With no long hauls, you’ll be home every night. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent driving skills, and a commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle to transport goods locally.
• Ensure timely delivery and pickup of shipments within the designated area.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
• Maintain accurate logs and records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to provide updates and address any issues.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety protocols, ensuring the safe transportation of goods.
• Assist with loading and unloading goods as needed, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo.

Qualifications:

• Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience in commercial driving, preferably in a local delivery role.
• Must have Moffit experience.
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including loading and unloading cargo.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
