Our client is seeking to hire a Sales & Marketing Manager in Abbotsford, working under supervision and in conjunction with the Project Manager.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Manage leads, customers, accounts, and relationships throughout the sales cycle.
  • Build, develop, and lead the Sales & Marketing team to drive revenue and exceed targets.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date data on leads, prospects, customers, and quote statuses.
  • Analyze quotes to identify trends and improve sales performance.
  • Review and report on Sales & Marketing data and metrics.
  • Oversee Marketing activities, including website, branding, and social media.
  • Provide status reports to customers and manage customer accounts.
  • Develop sales processes and strategies to achieve goals.
  • Evaluate and adjust policies for effective Sales & Marketing operations.
  • Ensure adherence to company procedures and company values.
  • Monitor market factors to establish and adjust selling prices.
  • Maintain budgets, approve expenditures, and manage expenses.
  • Recruit, hire, and develop sales reps, ensuring target achievement.
  • Lead and encourage staff for high effectiveness and supervise attendance.
  • Act as liaison between management and the Sales & Marketing team.
  • Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training employees.
  • Support employees and collaborate with all departments.
  • Assist with inventory control, forecasting, and market demand.
  • Maintain sales volume and pricing by staying current with market trends.
  • Ensure revenue collections are on target and address issues with Management.
  • Manage risk and ROI to minimize losses and maximize profits.
  • Collaborate and analyze data to create reports for management review.
  • Stay updated on industry trends.
  • Continuously improve products, services, and customer offerings while considering investments in Sales & Marketing assets.
  • Ensure Sales & Marketing staff have the necessary tools and resources.
  • Enforce health and safety guidelines for Sales & Marketing staff.
  • Handle reviews, HR matters, conflict resolution.
  • Oversee opening, closing, and setup of Sales & Marketing areas.
  • Align Sales & Marketing efforts with company goals and business plans.
  • Determine use of company vehicles.
  • Promote and follow company brand and values.
  • Travel locally or offsite as required.
  • Dress appropriately for the job and wear company branded clothing.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • 3+ years in a Sales Manager or similar leadership role.
  • 2+ years in B2B sales or industries like Mining, Aggregate, Construction, Recycling, or Forestry.
  • 2+ years managing customer relationships and growing accounts.
  • Marketing experience, including social media, website development, and brochure creation.
  • Experience managing employees.
  • Expertise in sales and marketing at all levels.
  • Understand and fill dynamic roles with strong product knowledge.
  • Possess multi-angle thinking, including design perception.
  • Delegate effectively, be a team player, and seek help strategically.
  • Proficient with various software and platforms.
  • Detail-oriented, time-sensitive, and accountable.
  • Strong business development skills.

Salary & Schedule:

  • Salary is commensurate with experience.
  • Monday to Friday-7 AM-5 PM
  • Full time
  • Role can be hybrid: on-site, remote/work from home, and occasionally off-site.
