About the Role
A Springfield, Illinois–based manufacturer is seeking two Field Service Technicians to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll be on the front line—installing, maintaining, and repairing our specialized equipment for clients nationwide. We’re looking for hands-on problem-solvers who enjoy variety, travel, and working directly with customers.

What You’ll Do

• Travel across the U.S. to perform on-site equipment installations, maintenance, and repairs

• Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical issues quickly and effectively

• Conduct routine inspections to keep equipment operating at peak performance

• Partner with the sales team to provide technical support for customers

• Keep detailed service records and communicate updates to the team

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in field service, maintenance, or a related technical role

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and mechanical components

• Ability to troubleshoot low- and high-voltage systems

• Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset

Bonus Skills

• Experience using ammeters for electrical testing

• Mechanical/electrical knowledge specific to equipment maintenance
