Work Schedule: 1st Shift; Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Pay: $22.00 - $23.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Company Overview:

Our client specializes in mechanical and electrical engineering, offering advanced 3-D modeling for systems design and the latest in PLC automation. They are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Controls Technician to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Dimension and layout back panels and enclosures.
• Mount components to back panels and enclosures.
• Route and bundle wires and cables neatly to meet wiring standards.
• Perform point-to-point wiring for relays, controls, PLCs, I/O Modules, VFDs, interfaces, and instrumentation.
• Troubleshoot panels to eliminate wiring errors and component malfunctions.
• Maintain red-line drawing mark-ups of changes required during fabrication.
• Communicate red-line changes to the Engineer or Team Leader for revision before completion.
• Effectively communicate with all team members, including leads, builders, engineers, and the Project Manager.
• Meet deadlines under pressure while maintaining a high standard of quality and attention to detail.
• Perform other duties as assigned or as needed.

Qualifications:

• Strong electrical background required.
• Team player with a strong work ethic and self-motivation.
• Acceptable to training and detail-oriented.
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Previous chemical manufacturing experience is a plus.
