Metal Cell Operator Job Description:

Express Employment is working with a local manufacturer of aerospace and defense products. You will be making different airplane parts from start to finish each day. This position requires high attention to detail and the ability to sit in one place for a whole shift.

 

Responsibilities:

• Measure and surface grind castings to remove defects
• Could make up to 25 different airplane parts per day
• Work independently to follow instructions for each piece

 

Schedule and Pay:

• Mon-Fri 
  • 6am-2pm
  • 2pm-10pm
  • 10pm-6am
    • Will train for 8-12 weeks on 1st shift, and then move to 2nd or 3rd shift
    • You will have a set shift for 1 year, and then there will be annual shift bids
• $23.94/hr

Requirements: 

• 2 years of continuous work experience or 6 months of manufacturing experience
• Must be comfortable sitting in the same spot for the entire shift
• High technical aptitude and good math skills
• Detail oriented
• Must be reliable and have exceptional attendance
• Highschool diploma or GED (will need to provide proof)
• Background check
• Drug test
• Physical
