Our client is a long-term stable collection agency.  They are seeking and exceptional candidate for their Collection Unit Manager. 

 

Our unit manager positions require a great deal of time spent on the phone; so, you must be comfortable talking with people.  Although your job will be to collect debt, we find that the most profitable collectors are friendly and are able to find a way to relate or connect to their debtors; therefore, being personable is key.   You will also research accounts, take credit card payments, and enter notes into our collections software program. We will provide the training needed to do your job; but, in order to do well in this position, you must be self-motivated.

 

Pay and Benefits: Pay is $10 hr during training (3-4 months) and then $8 hr plus commission thereafter.  There is unlimited earning potential in our collections department, as we do not cap commissions. However, a reasonable estimation for a unit manager is $35K-$45K annually or more. This is where self-motivation comes in, the more calls you make and more accounts you work, the more money you will make. Benefits available to our employees include 401k, profit share, paid vacation, some paid holidays off, life insurance, supplemental insurances, and a work schedule consisting of 40 hours per week.
