Specialized Recruiting Group of Walla Walla is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Construction Project Manager to join a local business. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, excellent communication, and problem-solving abilities. They will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Coordination:

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Oversee the procurement of materials and labor resources.
  • Ensure all necessary permits and licenses are obtained.

Project Execution:

  • Supervise the construction process to ensure adherence to plans and specifications.
  • Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed.
  • Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
  • Address and resolve any construction issues that arise during the project.

Budget and Cost Management:

  • Prepare and manage project budgets and cost estimates.
  • Track and control project expenses to stay within budget.
  • Negotiate and approve vendor contracts and change orders.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead and manage construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Foster a collaborative and productive working environment.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members.

Quality Assurance and Control:

  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work meets quality standards.
  • Identify and address any quality control issues promptly.

Communication and Reporting:

  • Provide project status updates and reports to senior management.
  • Facilitate project meetings and briefings.

Documentation and Record Keeping:

  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and reports.
  • Ensure proper documentation for regulatory compliance and audits.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
  • Several years of experience in construction project management.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and methods.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software such as AutoCAD and tools.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and building codes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
