Schedule: Mon-Fri

1st Shift-7:00 am to 3:30 pm

2nd Shift- 3:45 pm -12:15 am (Overtime always available)

Job Description

The primary tasks of the Fabrication Welder involve building machine frames and components out of structural steel, followed by tearing down completed machines to prepare for transport.

• MIG welding and fabrication of machine frames and components that consist of light gauge sheet metal to heavy gauge tube, flat bar and I-Beam
• Fabricating industrial ovens, safety guarding, vacuum tanks, swing doors, fan brackets, catwalks
• Grinding and finishing completed products
• Perform quality checks on finished components
• Installing finished components into machine structures
• Disassembling machines for painting and shipping
• Material handling with sit-down forklifts and overhead cranes

Must have Skills:

• MIG welding and/or fabrication experience (6+years)
• Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints (or ability to learn)
• Experience with saws, shears, drill presses, forklifts, and cranes is a plus
