Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of mechanical equipment issues both in-shop and at customer sites.
• Fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance, or set-up.
• Comprehend conveyor dynamics and material handling fundamentals.
• Perform routine maintenance work on conveyor systems and other equipment.
• Assemble machinery prior to installation.
• Complete start-up and testing of machinery and systems.
• Understand and read engineered blueprints and drawings.
• Handle shutdown operations.
• Knowledge of advanced rigging and handling, bearings, seals, and packing.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work area and equipment.
• Complete all jobs in a timely manner.
• Experience in bulk material handling.

Expected Work Environment:

• General warehouse environment.
• Frequent work outside in various weather conditions.
• Possible work in damp or humid environments.
• May require working above or below ground level/confined spaces.

Qualifications:

• Mechanical and fabrication skills.
• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
• Experience with material handling resources such as conveyor belts, rubber lining, mechanical services, industrial hoses, and fittings.
