We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Bookkeeper/Office Manager for a local construction company. In this position, you will oversee day-to-day office operations, manage financial tasks, and handle various administrative responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize your expertise in QuickBooks, Excel, and Word to manage payroll, handle tax preparation, and ensure accurate financial reporting. 
  • Collaborate with a CPA for seamless financial operations.
  • Assist with worker compensation, health insurance, onboarding for new hires, and implementation of company HR policies.
  • From AP payments and AR collections to renewing licenses and managing vendor contracts, you'll be the point person for maintaining an efficient and well-run office.
  • Organize office operations, plan events, and liaise with facility management vendors. Your attention to detail will ensure the smooth functioning of day-to-day tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or Office Manager.
  • Proficient in QuickBooks, Excel, Word, and other relevant software.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Knowledge of state and agency reporting requirements.
  • Familiarity with payroll processing, tax preparation, and HR functions.
