Position Overview:

As a Welder/Fabricator, you will play a crucial role in our fabrication process, primarily welding stainless steel parts and equipment according to engineering specifications. You will ensure safety, accuracy, and quality while assembling components and equipment using hand and power tools. This role may also involve providing project support and installation services at customer facilities, occasionally requiring travel and overtime to meet project deadlines.

 

Responsibilities:

• Weld stainless steel parts and equipment according to engineering specifications
• Assemble components and equipment using hand and power tools
• Maintain a clean work area and perform general housekeeping duties to ensure a safe working environment
• Provide project support and installation services at customer facilities
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times

 

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of welding experience or successful completion of a vocational welding training program
• Proficiency in TIG, MIG, and stick welding, including proper equipment setup and maintenance
• Ability to read, write, and speak in English
• Experience reading blueprints and accurately measuring, layout, and assembling parts/equipment
• Willingness and ability to meet all company and customer facility entry requirements, including training, background checks, health and safety requirements, and pre-employment drug tests
• Must be at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years of welding experience
• Experience working in an industrial plant environment
• Forklift operator certification
• Welding experience with stainless steel

 

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to regularly stand, walk, crouch/stoop, kneel, bend, and climb
• Capability to work at heights and in potentially hazardous environments
• Good manual dexterity for the use of hand and power tools
• Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs unassisted and occasionally up to 100 lbs

 

Compensation:

• Full-time starting wage is $18.00 per hour, with potential adjustments based on experience

 

Experience:

• TIG welding: 1 year (Required)
• MIG welding: 1 year (Required)
• Stick welding: 1 year (Required)
• Blueprint reading: 1 year (Required)

 

License/Certification:

• Welding Certification (Preferred)
