Position Overview

A high‑volume plastics manufacturing facility is seeking a skilled Molding Process Technician to support overnight production. This role is responsible for machine setups, process adjustments, troubleshooting, and ensuring consistent part quality throughout the shift.

Shift: 11pm - 7:30am
Pay: $16

Key Responsibilities

Perform mold changes, machine setups, and start‑ups
Adjust molding parameters to maintain quality and cycle efficiency
Troubleshoot molding defects (flash, short shots, burns, splay, etc.)
Monitor machines, auxiliary equipment, and material flow
Complete quality checks and document process changes
Work closely with operators to maintain smooth production
Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of molds and equipment
Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures

Qualifications

2+ years of injection molding experience preferred
Strong understanding of molding parameters, materials, and troubleshooting
Ability to read work instructions, process sheets, and quality specs
Comfortable lifting 50 lbs and working in a manufacturing environment
Reliable, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently on 3rd shift
