Job Title: Machinist

Overview: We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in operating horizontal boring mills and demonstrate proficiency in various machining techniques. Responsibilities:

• Operate horizontal boring mills efficiently and effectively.
• Perform administrative duties as required.
• Demonstrate proficiency as a machinist with keen attention to detail.
• Adaptability to constant changes in work projects and shift schedules.
• Maintain mobility and ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Follow instructions meticulously and demonstrate a strong work ethic.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and teamwork.

Requirements:

• Minimum of two years of experience in a related industry, particularly with larger parts.
• Experience with horizontal boring mills is highly desirable.
• Post-secondary education in a machining discipline is preferred.
• Familiarity with TOS Horizontal Boring Mills, Mazak VCN, QTN, Integrex, manual mills and lathes, and other machining equipment as required.
• Ability to work in a two-shift shop operation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to protocols.
