Teller Job description

Multiple credit union branches are looking to fill full-time teller positions to deliver high-quality service, develop and maintain relationships with members, and promote their banking options . The Portage and Winfield locations are looking to fill long term roles, while the Valparaiso location is looking to fill a 6 month role that could turn into a long term position for the right candidate.  

 

Responsibilities:

• Assist members at the teller window by conducting account transactions, account maintenance, and cultivating relationships.
• Provide and share product and service information to fulfill individual financial needs.
• Adhere to all security policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate transaction records, a balanced teller drawer, and comply with the cash management policies and procedures.

 

Pay and Schedule:

• Mon-Fri 9:00am-5:00pm and rotating Saturdays 9:00am-12:00pm
• $16

Qualifications:

• Candidates must actively promote the credit union by delivering high-quality service, maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the credit union's products and services, and effectively cross-selling products and services.
• Previous experience in cash handling, financial banking, and customer service is a plus
• Punctuality and a commitment to achieving set goals are essential.
• Physical requirements include the ability to lift at least 15 pounds occasionally due to coin bags and stand for extended periods.
